Des & Loretto at VISIT

By opening VISIT, Des and Loretto Malone, bring to their customers, a joint experience that is unsurpassable.

Des started his hairdressing career in the "WItches Hut" & after qualifying he moved to "Peter Hair Creation" in Grafton Street. It was there that Des emmersed himself in the creative side of the hairdressing world, involved in Hair Shows, Photographic and Editorial Projects. Having attended many training seminars at the L'Oreal Centre in Paris, Daniel Galvin in London & others, Des was and is passionate about constantly improving and changing with his industry. When Peter opened his new salon in Blackrock, Des that took charge.

Coincidentally, it was Lorreto that replaced Des in the Grafton Street Salon. Having trained, qualified and worked with David Marshall in Dawson Street, Loretto too had a passion for the creative stye of hairdressing, leading to her and Des meeting and ultimately working together. As fate would have it these two creative hair enthusiasts met at a hair show in the Stillorgan Park Hotel! And as they say the rest is history... they fell for each other and in 1990 they decided that Greystones was the place to build their future together, both proffesionally and persionally. Des opened his first business "The Carriage House" in Greystones which he had for 15 years, while Loretto joined "Hair and Beauty" (Peter Mark) in the St Stephen's Green Centre. In 2004 they again came to work together in a new salon in Greystones where they both worked for 10 years. In 2015 Des & Loretto decided to take the plunge and open their own brand new salon in Delgany, and bring you VISIT. They are thoroughly enjoying building their own new brand at VISIT......
